Dr. Kevin James Bray

Dr. Kevin James Bray is board-certified in ophthalmology. He graduated summa cum laude from the University of Florida with bachelor of science in biological engineering. He then finished medical school at Louisiana State University, where he was inducted into the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. His medical training continued with an internship in internal medicine in Louisiana, followed by ophthalmology residency at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. During his last year of residency, he was selected by faculty and peers to serve as Chief Resident. Dr. Bray was fellowship-trained in vitreoretinal surgery at Retina Consultants of Alabama/University of Alabama at Birmingham. He is licensed to practice medicine in North and South Carolina, and he is a fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Retinal Specialists. Outside of medicine, Dr. Bray loves to spend time with his wife, Ericka, and their four sons.
